What does this mod do?

With this little cheatting & debugging mod you can add multiple NPCs to your family at once with one click or remove multiple household members from the family with one click and turn them into NPCs without having to click on each Sim individually. This mod may also be useful to other modders who are running out of living Sims in their family too quickly...

The menu appears when you click on the mailbox in cheat mode (with the Shift key).

Please note the following:

• Because the game limits the number of Sims in a household to 8, adding only works up to a maximum of 8 Sims in the house. However, the interaction is not hidden or inactive even when no more Sims can be added, because this 8 Sim limit can be bypassed by having a mod (there are many) that changes the maximum number of Sims per household. One such mod is this one.
• Adding does not work for all Sims in the game, only for Sims currently on the active lot or in the current world region. No other Sims will appear in the selection picker.
• Sims that have been removed from your household via this debug interaction will no longer be shown in the household list view and are thus somehow hidden. However, these Sims will still exist in the game and will still be shown in the contact list of your active Sims, so they can still be invited, for example. This is the way this debugging function was done by EA. I only used this already existing hidden EA function and did not re-code it.

Translations

This mod doesn't need any translations because no strings are used here.

Compatibility

There shouldn't be any compatibility problems because the mod doesn't overwrite anything.

Requirements

• Lot51 Core Library Script is required (separate download).
• The use of scripts must be allowed in the game settings!
